Welcome to another issue of Passionate Income.

In this brand-new four-part series, we're breaking down today's most popular funnel-building software.

In particular, the Pros and Cons of each, what level of tech-savvy you'll need you master them, and how much they all cost as of March 2024.

In Part I, we covered ActiveCampaign and ClickFunnels. Today, we'll examine GetResponse and Hubspot.

Let’s dive in.

As we discussed in Part I of our series, there are dozens of funnel-building software.

So which one should you pick?

Well, that's what this four-part series is here to help you with.

Below, we'll include the Pros, Cons, and pricing for each funnel software so you can dig deeper if one of them sounds like a good fit for your situation.*

*These are listed in alphabetical order, not by which ones are our favorites or most recommended.

#3 - GetResponse

As we explained in Part I, we like funnel builders that have high-quality email marketing built into them. Mainly because having to work with and connect two separate software is a hassle and will add to your expenses.

Which is why we're such big fans of GetResponse.

Admittedly, GR is an email-first, 'funnel as an afterthought' kind of company.

And because of that, an advanced marketer could claim their features and functionality are basic compared to a more advanced service like ClickFunnels (covered in Part I) or Kartra (which we'll cover in Part III).

At the same time, most online business owners are not running complicated funnels. Especially if you're selling freelancing, coaching, consulting or agency services (which usually require nothing more than an opt-in page).

Sure, if you're selling info products with multiple upsells, downsells, etc., you'll need a more sophisticated tool.

But if you're selling services, SaaS, or building an eCom list, having your emails and funnels under one roof is a huge time saver.

Not to mention, GetResponse has an intuitive builder, allowing you to visualize every step of your funnel's flow both before and after you've launched.

The downside is how their pricing works.

While most funnel builders charge based on how many subscribers you have, GR is one of the more expensive options as you graduate from 1,000 to 2,500 to 5,000+ subs.

Further, sales funnel functionality is only included in GetResponse's middle and upper-tier plans. So don't be fooled into thinking you can sign up for their entry-level tier if your needs are more advanced.

Pricing: $19/mo - $1,099/mo+ depending on tier of service and list size.

#4 - Hubspot

For as long as I can remember, Hubspot has been an above-board, value-first leader in the digital marketing space. Which makes sense:

Between the copious amounts of content they produce, and the way they rope people in with free versions of their more advanced software, Hubspot consistently attracts the highest quality clients.

Which is both good and bad news for us. Why?

The good news is that their software is highly esteemed and used by some of the largest and most respected companies in the online industry.

Mainly because they offer more hands-on support than any company in the space. Which, depending on your level of tech-savvy, may or may not be a good thing.

Sadly, because they attract such high-quality clients, Hubspot charges some of the highest prices in the industry. To the point most people can't afford them.

Sure, you can get on their Free Plan if you have less than 1,000 subscribers.

But as you climb toward 3,000, their most basic service jumps to $100+ faster than any other funnel builder we're covering as part of this series.

Further, if you want access to their more advanced features, plans start at a whopping $800 per month and go up from there.

The good news is, unless you're running a 7-figure company and trying to scale to 8-figures, odds are Hubspot isn't even on your radar.

Pricing: $37.50 (1,000 subs on most basic plan) to $3,600+ / mo

💡 Takeaway: Not all sales funnel software are created equal. Depending on the use case and your budget, some may be a better fit than others.
