Welcome to another issue of Passionate Income.
Today we’ll be discussing three B2B service offers that will be hot both next year and for the rest of the 2020s.
Let’s dive in.
Dear PI Readers: I just built a FREE video training on How to make $3k - $5k/ month with an Instagram Faceless Page.
If you think you need to show yourself or have a product to sell, you will definitely want to check this out.
As you may or may not know, service offers follow the same market adoption and saturation cycles consumer products do.
For example, similar to how AI was hot 15 months ago (but has since cooled off), service offers connected to business trends follow the same pattern.
Because of that, launching a service before it becomes saturated is a great way to beat the competition. Which, in turn, makes it easier for you to generate revenue and sales.
So in today’s issue, I thought we would discuss the three primary offers discussed in the video I mentioned above.
Here they are:
1 – Personal Branding Agency
Over the last 15 years personal brands have exploded in the online business space. However, if you zoom out and look at society as a whole, personal brands are still in their infancy.
Sure, athletes, musicians and actors have always had some level of fame.
But when it comes to everyday citizens, business owners, etc., the only way to gain any remote level of notoriety was to become well-known in your geographic area or industry.
Thanks to social media, however, it is now possible for almost anyone on Earth to achieve "fame" through a Personal Brand.
Here’s why I mention this:
For those of us who are neck-deep in the online business space, we likely follow dozens - if not hundreds - of gurus and experts. But that's because online business peeps are forward thinkers.
On the flip side, your average dentist, realtor, and hair stylist do not have personal brands. Nor would they know how to launch one on their own.
Same goes for most Fortune 500 CEOs, high profile surgeons, etc.
Which is where you come in.
As the benefits of having a personal brand become more and more obvious—from increased dating options to networking opportunities—it’s safe to assume there will be an explosion in the number of people who want to build a presence online.
And if you can provide that kind of service, the number of clients you can work with over the next decade is near infinite.
2 - Community Management
This one isn’t new or revolutionary, but it’s an opportunity that doesn’t get talked about very often.
As someone who came from a direct response background, I’ve noticed how aggressive DR tactics become less and less effective with each passing year.
Mainly because of how many people have been burned by fraudsters, scammers, and incompetent business owners over the past decade.
Which makes sense: It's been about 10 years since the launch of social media advertising (e.g. Facebook ads, etc.). And it's social media ads that enabled marketers to run aggressive direct response funnels to billions of people.
Fast forward to today and consumers are more skeptical than ever.
Because of that, we’re seeing business owners pivot away from hard-sell direct response tactics in favor of soft-sell branding plays.
In the past, this was done by optimizing free content for Google and publishing content on social media.
However, with the invention of Facebook groups - and platforms like Discord, Skool, and Telegram - it is now easier to launch and maintain a community than ever before.
More important, forming and maintaining a community is one of the best ways to turn first-time buyers into full-blown brand ambassadors.
If you know anything about marketing, you know word-of-mouth is the most powerful form of marketing there is.
Meaning, if you’re good at community management, you can deliver the one thing every brand on Earth is hungry for: An army of customers who will spread the word for free (and do so with a genuine smile on their face).
3 - Podcast Management Agency
Back in 2014 I had a roommate who ran a podcast management agency.
From what I understood he made decent money, but never really blew up. Which isn't that surprising: In the early 2010s, podcasts hadn't gone mainstream yet.
As of 2024, however, a survey of 2,000 adults showed a stunning 44% had listened to at least one podcast episode in the past month.
Similar to the Personal Brand trend discussed above, podcasts are a direct extension of marketer's desire to capture as much attention as possible.
Further, as they say: "There are few things people love more than hearing the sound of their own voice.
More importantly, this is one of the easiest service offers in the entire marketing industry. Why?
Because all you have to do is edit an audio file, write a title and description for the episode, and upload the finalized version to platforms like Spotify, Apple, and SoundCloud using an RSS feed.
Admittedly, 99% of people don't have professional audio editing skills. With that said, this stuff isn’t rocket science.
While you might not become Taylor Swift's audio engineer, YouTube has tons of videos that teach the basics of sound editing for free.
Lastly, with everyone chasing the hot offer of the year—which for 2024 is AI automation—you’ll face dramatically less competition running a podcast agency than you would something more saturated.
###
In conclusion, the laws of supply and demand affect every business on Earth.
While the masses try to launch social media management agencies (which were new and exciting years ago), the savvy move is to stay one step ahead of the competition by launching one of the three services mentioned above.
💡 Takeaway: As we head into the back-half of the 2020s, there will be an increasing demand for personal brand building, community management, and podcast administration services.
