Welcome to another issue of Passionate Income.
Today we’ll be discussing what is arguably one the #1 hacks for “guaranteeing” success online.
A behavior that is both dead simple to understand, but incredibly difficult to act on.
Let’s dive in.
I recently filmed this exclusive training on How To Make $20k Month Without Showing Yourself or Selling Your Products (using Instagram)
After I released this training, it got over 10,000 views and I received 200+ personal messages.
Nothing held back, this is the framework I and 100+ of my clients used.

Could this one simple (but difficult) behavior change your life?
Check this out:
A couple years ago I went through a rough patch where I was struggling to succeed online.
Translation: I was broke.
After years of ups and downs, I couldn’t understand why I had failed to achieve consistency in my business.
Yes, I had jumped from idea to idea way too often. And I won’t deny the fact that I’m not one of those 100-hour-per-week alpha hustler types.
At the same time, I had reached levels that 99% of people who try to earn a living online will never reach.
So, what went wrong?
To answer this question, I began journaling about my successes and failures. While there were arguments to be made on both sides, one pattern was undeniable:
Anytime I spent six months focused on one specific business model—without getting distracted or dabbling in anything else—I achieved success.
And by success, I mean I hit $10K per month (or more) at least once during those six months. Even when I had launched something brand new.
Sure, $10,000 a month is not going to put a Lamborghini in your garage or help you retire at age 40.
However, given the median income in the United States is around $39,000 per year, $10,000 a month is close to triple what the average American makes.
Further, as someone who’s been involved in a variety of online coaching programs, $10,000 per month is the income goal most people mention on sales calls.
So, why is the 180-day number so powerful?
First, you need to understand the majority of people who try to earn a living online give up in a matter of weeks (if not days) if they do not achieve immediate success.
On the surface, this sounds insane.
No person in their right mind would ever go to the gym for one week and expect to pack on 45 pounds of muscle. Nor would they start jogging and expect to drop 50 pounds in five days.
But for some reason, when it comes to earning a living online, people think immediate success is not only possible… but likely.
My theory as to why this happens relates to how money affects our emotions.
As an example, there are almost zero situations where somebody would need to drop 50 pounds overnight. Yes, they might desire to lose that much weight in such a short amount of time. But there’s no real-life pressure given no one actually expects those kind of results to be possible.
What we do have, however, is a never-ending stream of bills.
And because of that, there is very real pressure to get money coming in as fast as possible.
Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of people dramatically underestimate how much effort (and time) it will take to achieve even the most basic results online.
And because of that, they don’t set up their financial situation in a way that gives them enough runway to actually build a business.
To make matters worse, we live in an instant-gratification society where gurus prey on people's hopes and fears to sell the dream of getting rich quick.
In reality, however, the only people who get rich quick from these schemes are the gurus selling the opportunities.
At the same time, as someone who has both coached up-and-coming internet marketers - and participated in a variety of online coaching programs myself - I’ve seen how rare it is for someone to put in six months of consistent effort and not achieve some type of positive result.
In some cases, they start generating revenue within a matter of weeks.
In others, it may take the full six months.
What I’ve almost never seen, however, is someone who puts in consistent effort Monday through Friday for 26 weeks and achieves absolutely nothing.
Now, does this imply there’s a 100% guarantee you’ll achieve success if you work on one business for six months?
No, of course not.
There are a variety of reasons things could go wrong.
From chasing a trend that falls out of favor, to not understanding your strengths, there’s no guarantee any amount of focus will deliver you to the Wi-Fi money promise land.
That said, if you’ve worked on something for 90 days straight with zero results, you should probably zoom out and ask yourself some hard questions.
“Am I enjoying this?”
“Am I actually giving this my all?”
“Am I subconsciously sabotaging myself because—now that I’m in the trenches—I don’t actually see myself doing this long-term?”
As someone who’s dealt with all of the above doubts (and dozens more), what you need to understand is that achieving success online is a journey.
It took me years of dabbling with the wrong business models before I finally stumbled upon something I was good at. But once I made that discovery, my income skyrocketed to $10,000 a month (and even higher) within 90 days.
If I had quit after my first couple of years of failure, however, I never would have gotten to that level. Even worse, I never would’ve achieved the level of freedom, travel, and mobility I now get to enjoy.
At the end of the day, success in business boils down to mindset.
If you’re constantly doubting yourself, doubting the market, and jumping from one opportunity to another, you’re going to have a very hard time achieving success.
However, if you can stay in the game long enough to identify your strengths—and match them with a good market opportunity—your odds of succeeding go up dramatically.
Further, the time is going to pass no matter what.
Given this, you owe it to yourself to focus on whatever business idea you see as the strongest opportunity for the next six months.
While there’s no guarantee of success, focusing on one thing for 180 days straight puts you in the best possible position to maximize your results.
💡 Takeaway: Working on one business - with no distractions - for six months in a row virtually guarantees you get forward momentum. Doesn’t mean you’ll get rich within six months, but if you do this right, you should see a path to your income goals (with clear steps to hitting them if you continue working on the same business model).
