Welcome to another issue of Passionate Income.
Today we’ll be discussing our #1 favorite business model for 2025.
While there are 100s of different types of companies you can start, this particular model is an entrepreneurial favorite for its ease of scale and insanely high profit potential.
Let’s dive in.
I recently filmed this exclusive free training on the Smartest path to $10k a month in 2025 (using Instagram).
I released this training because we kept getting replies from our readers about an actual business model that will work long-term and isn't overhyped.
Nothing held back, this is the framework I and 100+ of my clients used.

With 30 days left until New Year’s, the clock is ticking to get a jumpstart on launching a new business before the year’s end.
If you already have one—and plan on sticking with it through next year—you can ignore today’s issue.
However, if you’re unhappy with your current business - or are still trying to figure out what type of business to start - I think you’ll find some value in this.
The type of business you choose to build has a massive impact on whether you have the wind at your back, or spend most of your time swimming against the current.
There are several reasons for this.
From the economy to seasonal trends, some businesses are easier to launch and grow than others.
That said, we don’t recommend choosing a specific business model just because it “should” be easier to get off the ground. Nor do we recommend rejecting a business model just because it’s not sexy or trendy right now.
At the end of the day, you’re unlikely to stick with something if you don’t have at least some inherent interest in what you’re doing.
Mainly because it’s difficult to overcome the daily challenges of entrepreneurship if your only motivation is to "make money."*
*Which you can do with most any business on the planet.
That said, if you can find a way to align your interests and strengths with a model that has a favorable outlook in the current business climate, you’ll kill two birds with one stone.
More importantly, you’ll dramatically increase your odds of achieving success.
And fortunately for you, there's one business model that is both hot, makes sense given current business trends, and ties in with most any topic on Earth:
This one might sound obvious, but you’d be surprised how few people are actually building content businesses.
As outlined in the highly recommended book The Millionaire Fastlane, building a media company is one of the top four recommended business models for becoming a millionaire quickly.
Admittedly, building a content business today is much more difficult than it was in the past.
From competition on social media to the challenges of getting top-page Google rankings, publishing content is a long-term venture.
That said, it’s also one of the easiest businesses to scale once you generate enough revenue to hire staff.
So, what is a content business? Think of it like being a publisher.
Here are some examples:
A blog (e.g., The Chive)
A personal YouTube channel (e.g., MrBeast)
A faceless Instagram page (like what we teach)
An Amazon book brand (under your name, a pen name, or a trade brand)
A podcast (any type)
Etc.
What do all of the above have in common?
They operate like TV channels or radio stations.
You push out content and build an audience, then sell access to that audience in the form of ads, sponsorships, etc.
Not to mention, you can also sell your own products and services to your audience.
Now, this might not sound like a revolutionary idea—and it’s not.
Except for one thing:
While content consumption rates have declined a bit since the end of the COVID lockdowns, they haven’t fallen much.
In fact, rates are hovering near all-time highs, with the average Internet user spending 6.6 hours per day online.
From entertainment to education, there’s a nearly infinite demand for written, audio and video content.
Sure, competition is high.
And because of that, the bar has been raised in terms of the quality of content needed to grab attention.
That said, if you can find your edge and lean into it—whether by being entertaining on camera, having an engaging voice for podcasting, or writing in a way that grips people’s attention—you can succeed as a publisher.
Even in 2025.
I should know.
While it’s been years since Instagram’s algorithm made it “easy” to build an audience, my students have built five-, six-, and seven-figure followings multiple times throughout 2024.
And it’s not just Instagram.
I know people who’ve built content businesses on YouTube, Amazon Kindle, TikTok, and even LinkedIn over the past 12 months.
So, while things might not be as easy as they were five years ago, success is 100% possible.
What matters is choosing the platform most aligned with your strengths, and committing to publishing your first 100 posts (no matter how badly you want to give up when you realize success isn’t going to happen overnight).
In conclusion, if you’re unsure what kind of business to build next year - and want something scalable that doesn’t require trading dollars for hours - consider building a media brand.
It won’t be easy.
But after six months of consistent effort, both your life and finances could be in a completely different place.
💡 Takeaway: Supply and Demand is a fundamental pillar of doing business. And for better or worse, consumer demand for content continues to reach new all-time highs as the population grows. Last, given content businesses are easy to scale - and can be sold as part of an exit - why not build a media brand around a topic you're passionate about?
